I have Joined Microsoft & Future Plans

It is great to tell you that I’ve joined Microsoft as a software engineer. The future plans for this blog is listed below.

Future Plans for this blog

  • First I’ll re-upload some of my most interacted blogs (which I am proud of) from my old blogging platforms (because one thing I could not decide was what platform to blog on, and finally I realised I should own my articles not upload it to some random websites like Medium or Hashnode),
  • Second be ready to recieve a series of new distributed systems articles here,
  • Third I’ll occasionally write some very impressive Data Structure / Algorithms questions as I notice them on codeforces.

New Notes on Practical Distributed Systems

Here is a link to my on-going notes on distributed systems. Think of it as a source of truth for my understanding of distributed systems. This note will be available for full release on Arxiv (will release via a newsletter update, so please subscribe below).

Why you’ll read my shit on distributed systems?

Most of the books on distributed systems is well thought out piece of art. These are not indicative of how your iterative thinking works. Hence is not showing how you decide on some design, then why that’ll not work and then improve it. One more thing that is different here is we really will not cover the absoulute basics. We’ll deep dive into hard engineering problems and disect why teach of the design is considered.

This does not replaces well thought out research papers / carefully designed books, but compliments it. Please follow this blog if you want to see the progression and visit if you want to prepare for Big-Tech interviews.
